I looked at a previous survey...do u think India is only a nation about curry/taj mahal/their film industry??..thats what maximum people said..
Economy: Do you see it competing with China?? Or do you see only Indians as outsourcing?
Government: You know something you like or don't like?
Social & others: General views abt indians are..? they friendly??

kirstin..that's what I argued on!!..India is not just abt curry/taj mahal/film industry..nor is USA just jeans/hollywood/war! the previous surveys I have read have shown max. people to be sayin this..I was opposing this..

Aswell as curry, taj, and bollywood, i think they are quite into the fashion scene (obviously Asian fashion scene), and India is a massive place, so there are remote areas like Rejistan which is nice and colourful!!
Economy - I think they are doing well, and yes, they are competing with China.
They're government, well, I think they need to chill out on the whole Kashmir issue. That's the only thing I ever here about the Indian government.
But all in all, there's bad every where you go, and there's good every where you go, and Indian is no exception to that.

hi, i'm jess frm india. i think indians are street smarts and even though a portion of the indians are uneducated, they are kinda responsive and reciprocate in needed situations. That is one thing i like here. India is not competing with China. Indians are all hoping for a better and each generation tries to learn from the mistakes of the previous. India is a vivid country, it's got a varied culture. one side you can see a woman washing a cow and on the other side of the lane, a man on the cell-phone in traditional garments. Generally i would say, indians are pleasant and interesting as far as i hav known. But they are just like most ppl in their behaviour, some are pretty orthodox tho. And sometimes the social evils go just beyond the needed intended level. That is so exaggeratingly exasperatin! Like this self-claimed godman actually stands on a 5-month old baby and jumps. He weighs over 200 pounds. The baby goes unconcious for like a 1/2 hr and the parents are just satisfied with the blessings. Now, it's bin reported and there's a probe of course, but still, That is so shocking, inhuman and plain stupid. India's got a long way to go, before development can really be a statement. So, that' one reason i would say that India's not competing with China. And ppl here are interesting and are almost just the same as ppl around the world. Not like we came in here a century ago from mars and venus or something. And why don't u want indians to answer the question, coz, we knw a lot more bout the country that any outsider. And all of us are not biased.
