are you sure it's a female rabbit?

no-one has suggested a phantom pregnacy yet - these a regular occurance in rabbits and will need treatment by a vet - basically, for some reason or another, the rabbit thinks she is pregnant, will swell in her belly, nest, produce milk, etc - everything a pregnant rabbit will do, but she won;t have any babies. I think you should ask your vet to check her - he will have a feel of her belly to see if their are actually any babies there or not, and will be able to advise on any treatment necesary. Don't have a feel yourself as you can harm any babies there might be if you feel to hard, or in the wrong place.

The gestation period for a rabbit is 28-32 days. Put a nestbox in for the doe on the 28th day and if she doesn't have them by the end of the 32nd day pull it out. Rabbits normally have them right at 30 days.

And yes, you should keep the male and female separated.

If the male is still in there you need to remove him now. He will kill the babies and harrass the mother.
What kind of nest did she make? Is it deep and hollow in the straw? Is there much hair lining it? Then she will have the babies in a day or two. If she hasnt had babies in the 2 days, best to take her to vet and be sure they didnt die, and are stuck in the canal or shes not having a false pregnancy. If the nest is shabby and virtually hairless shes probably having a false pregnancy. You should keep an eye on her and make sure she is eating and drinking fine. IF not a vet visit is still needed.

It depends how long since it mated. The gestation period is about 30 days. Remove the male rabbit and put lots of hay/straw in.

is the male still in with your female?
are you checking on her constantly.
animals have uterine control, if they are disturbed or worried, they can withhold giving birth. turn the lights off, leave her alone..if a couple of days goes by with still no babies, take her to the vet.
also, having a male bunny present can cause the female to consume her babies..so be sure he is far away from her, preferably where she cant even see him.
