Dude...you're trolling, stop...no, really, this isn't even funny anymore. -_-

Look. It's a *show*, not a competition, and I've known this since I was eight years old. It doesn't stop me from appreciating the fact that a) these people DO have skills, and that b) they DO work hard for a living, often crippling and maiming themselves FOR REAL, just for *our* petty amusement. It doesn't stop me from enjoying the proceedings or respecting the talent (well, not the way say *Layfield's babblings* do, but I digress, he's *paid to babble*).

I've said it before and I will say it again: Comparing the WWE to competitive sport grappling is like comparing NBC's version of _Friday Night Lights_ to NFL Football. The resemblance is *only superficial* at best. Beyond that, it doesn't *parse*. It doesn't make *sense* to make that comparison. A show is a show, and a competition is a competition. And, in all fairness...

An Obsession is an Obsession. Just what IS your problem, that you feel you NEED to be such a killjoy? Really, nobody is MAKING you like this stuff, nobody is MAKING you watch. If you hate WWE so much, don't watch, and don't *harrass* those who do. It's simple, really. All you have to do is get a *life*, and do *your* thing as we do *ours*, separately and apart from you.

It's called "live and let live", last I heard.

But oh yeah, this is the *internet*, my bad, sorry, I forgot....

Nobody here is allowed to have a life....that would just ruin the show, wouldn't it? ^_^

Dude, just crawl back in your hole and rejoin your Bitter Cena Fan 12-Step Group, ok? We will *all* be better off for it, really.

It's not real. OH WOW! Thank you. If not for your vast wisdom, I would have spent the rest of my days thinking that the WWE was real. I think the real question is how stupid can you people be. You devote so much time to bashing something that supposedly doesn't interest you. You repeatedly state something that is already a well known fact. Only an idiot keeps stating the same fact over and over again.

Dude. You people are pissing the crap out of me. Are "reality" shows real. NO! Is a soap opera real? NO! Is your porn real? NO! Is a talk show "real" in the sense that it's people really talking spontaneously? NO! But you don't see us going over to those forums and talking bad about you and bashing the **** you like.

Why do you see it is necessary for you people to come over here and hate on us? If you don't like it then don't talk about it. We know that the winners are pre-determined but that doesn't mean that everything else isn't real. The injuries are real, the pain is real, the death is real. So you know what; the WWE is real. It is a real company publicly traded in the NYSE. They employ real athletes who do their jobs well. You know that Moonsault that Super Crazy does? Yeah, HE does it. He isn't assisted by wires.
When someone is given the Batista Bomb or a Spinebuster, their spines really hurt. These are athletic people putting on a show. Just because the winner is pre-determined doesn't mean that everything else is.

Perfect example; when Brock Lesnar gave the Big Show a Superplex on smackdown and the ring collapsed. That was real. HBK's spine injury that had him out for 2 years was real. When Kurt Angle was choked out into uncosiousness at Royal Rumble 2000 was real. Owen Hart dying was real.

Please just leave us people who like wrestling alone. We aren't "sad" people. Sad people are people who watch porn cause they can't get any. Sad people are *** holes like you who have nothing better to do than talk bad about other people and their hobbies. People like you jerks.

Yeah it's a real company & real ppl work for them.Don't they??!!
No it's not fake.No more so than soaps or films. It's rehearsed & planned to make it authentic. That doesn't mean it's fake. The wrestlers get injured for real as well.Try telling HHH or Rey Mysterio that it's fake.
End of the day if you don't like it, don't watch it.I do & love every minute of WWE!!

It is half and half. The storylines aren't (obviously) real. All the moves are planned and the wrestlers know how to take the falls etc. Things do go wrong in it though. Wreslers are always getting hurt. You must be sad if you didn't know that!
WWE RULES

We know its not. How many of you sad people are gullable enough to think that we believe it is real. I get tired of these questions. Do we make fun of people who watch movies cause they are scripted? No. Wrestling is a show, entertainment, a television program. Just like movies, wrestling has a script, a plot, action, and drama. You try to insult us fans by calling us "sad" but I think that you are worse by asking a question that has already been resolved. Grow up and leave fans alone. Let us enjoy something that we like.

of course wrestling is worked! 90% of the over 18 portion of the audience knows its worked and has been since the end of the 19th century.

However it doesnt stop it being entrtaining, although a lot of the moves are done so they dont do any long term damage, they are still fabulous feats of agility and endurance.

For this reason, i put wrestling in the same bracket as figure skating and gymnastics
