Well Dave I would first say that the number one item would be feminine items such as tampons or pads. Oh and then there's the adult diapers, that would be kind of bad. Then there's that cream for feminie itching, that's kind of embarrassing. Maybe fungi cream for your feet. Then there's cream for itching on men's penises.
Books on marriage counseling, depression, sexual dysfunctions, those would be embarrassing to get at a book store.

Looking at your answers so far, well I can see that condoms & tampons etc fall into this catogory.
Personally. I had a bit of a giggle in the comment via check-out staff as to why I needed parsnips and toothpaste.together.
Well !
I heard a guy in a NY store saying "have you got any rubbers about three inches long"?
I stood back in amazement.
He was not embarrassed seemingly.
I would find "ladies" hygeine items a tad tricky, as I am a bloke.

we was looking at some in a well known high street shop and the sales assistant said to us to give have a play with them. Hope she meant just turn it on!!! We made a quick exit from the shop and didn't buy anything.

Definatley prep H i remember as i kid walking down the chemist for mum and sitting in the corner till the shop emptied so i could give the women behind the counter the list my mum wrote on

Refunds on something the can't fit. I know I hate that. Or a certain brand of Tampons or pads.

Unlike most people I'm not embarassed about buying tampons for my girlfriend.
But apparantley they're not a 'proper' present.

I've never enjoyed asking for love lips and vaseline, come to think of it, I don't like asking for Tampons either

at a mechanics, i hate asking for HELP. They realize in 2 seconds that i don't know a thing about cars and i get over-charged like crazy!
