First of all congratulations on the baby!!! It is hard to calculate the loosing of baby weight.. Did you have a C-Section? or a natural birth.. it is harder with a c-section due to you need to heal...if you are breast feeding the baby you will lose weight somewhat faster but don't limit you food intake to much because it will limit your milk production. Like the other comments it does take at least 6 to 9 months to loose it all could be faster on the way your body is good luck. again congrats on the baby....Vonda

If you gained the right amount during the pregnancy (ie 25 -35 lbs) then it shouldn't take too long. Especially if you are breast feeding. I had my first child in August and lost all of the "baby weight" by my 6 week check up. If you aren't breast feeding just make sure you exercise (but only if your Dr. has okayed it) and eat right. 20 crunches everynight before bed can do a lot more than you think!

It depends on how much you eat and more importantly how much you excercise
