You can schedule your C-section whenever you want...
But unfortunately, the baby may have another time in mind..

I had two scheduled c-sections.. (one was on 9/9/99 because I wanted an easy birthday!) and I didn't make it to either one because my water broke early.

Good luck!

Ive had three c sections. I know a little about it.. ha-ha well anyhow. Depends on your doctor. If your pregnancy is typical with no complications your doctor will schedule your baby to be born no earlier than 10-14 days before your due date normally it is scheduled about 9 days from your due date so hopefully you wont go into labor. There are other things to consider.. c sections are only scheduled Mon-Fri so if your husbands birthday is on a sat or sun it will be out of the question. if your husbands birthday falls within 10 or so days before your due date and is a weekday you might have a shot of getting your wish. It is ultimately up to your doctor and what he thinks is best for the health of you and your baby :-) Melissa (-:

Don't you find that even a little silly? No offense, but I would suggest letting nature take its course. Unless your doctor has already determined that you would have a high risk natural delivery, why try to schedule a C-section? Your baby needs all the growing and development time it can get. If you doctor has already determined the need for C-section, I guess the 19th isn't that much too early and it shouldn't be a problem.

First off- it's up to your doctors schedule and when they do them. Chances are you wont get it on that date- also you could go into labor sooner.
Second of all- why on earth would you want to have a scheduled c-section????? Maybe you should go read up on how bad and risky they are- afterall it is like having major surgery. Also talk to some mothers who have had them- do you really want to be confined to the couch and bed for 6 weeks after giving birth??? or would you rather be able to walk around and get back to a normal life within a day or two of giving birth???? Seriously- go read some info on the dangers of c-sections!!!!!

The 19th of March is a great day to have a baby. It's my oldest child's b-day too.
Give it a try. If the dr says your due date is the 16th then you might not make it that far. Just be aware that an unexpected c-section might happen beforehand and plan away.

Oh and the 19th is a Monday so they just might plan for it anyway.

Goodluck.

You may go into labor before then, and thus end up having a c-section that day. It'll be a decision you'll make with your doctor. I don't see why they'd have a problem with it though, unless your health or the baby's is at risk.

15 weeks is far too early to tell. i assumed i replaced into going to be early with my first, i began out contracting at 33 weeks and by no potential stopped. i replaced right into a gestational diabetic and have been given a bladder an infection. that's what led to the contractions. i think of you may wait and notice, if my checklist had no longer led to at 38 weeks, I in all probability might have long previous finished term.

Sure why not?You can have your CS on your husband's birth date..But still, it depends on your labor condition as your delivery date approaches, you may give birth before or after your due date..Better discuss this matter to your OB..Congratulations!!!

Well as long as you're willing to take the chance of going into labor before...

You probably could schedule it for then... but the chances are good that you might go into labour before then.
