What are some signs of having twins???

Question

Alot of you are going to be like there is no signs. but what i mean is like weight gain,sleepy,sick, sutff like that. cause i am olny 6 weeks long and i have gained 13lbs. I walk everyday and dont eat bad. and i am already getting the pregnant belly. I am very sleepy it isnt even funny.i feel like everything is being pushed way to much in my tummy. well maybe a little help.

Size Matters

They will check the growth of your uterus at every visit, after about 12 weeks, it might seem to be bigger than expected. This could mean that you have twins or that they've got your dates wrong.

Fetal Movements

Some moms report that they felt like they had an octopus in their abdomen. They claim that they felt near constant movement in all directions. This can be a sign that you are having more than one baby.

Lab Work

Often times your lab work may come back with altered numbers. This is particularly true of hCG values in pregnancy testing and in the AFP testing. A higher than normal value on these tests can be because you are carrying more than one baby.

My first pregnancy was a twin pregnancy, I found out I was having twins when i was 5 months along even though I did have an early u/s it didnt show 2 babies until my 5 month u/s. I did have extreme sickness that lasted more than the 3 months it is suppost to last and I did gain weight alot faster, I gained a total of 70 pounds with my twins. I am pregnant with a singleton this time and there are really no other signs that are different.good luck

if your only 6 weeks than you shouldn't even be feeling any movement yet it takes a wile for that also the sleepieness and sickness are normal and some women experience it worse than others while some don't feel sick or sleepy at all i had morning sickness for 8 fricking months so i know all about that the only way to tell if it's twins is if the doc hears two separate heart beats thats it some times our minds are so powerful that if your thinking twin it mike make you feel as if your gaoing to have twins but at 6 weeks it's imposible to tell unless the doc heard it yet it could be that your more pregnant than you thought or your going to have a big baby

I hope you have gone to the doctor. It is amazing how tired you can be at first. Your body takes a lot of energy to develop this little miracle. The twins issue will only be resolved with a sonogram. There is virtually no way to know what's going on in there without one. Good luck and take real good care of yourself and that little darlin.
