Take a moment and try to remember if he mentioned wanting to buy something, do something, or go somewhere...any time over the time you've known each other that he never actually followed through with, and make it a point to get that, do that, or go there with him. I've always been floored when someone remembers or notices things like that, you know?
Do you guys have a favorite restaurant? Perhaps you can revisit where you had your first dinner date together... For me, it never was anything material that a girlfriend got me, it was the time investing in finding that awesome gift or making the occasion special, you know?

Nah, Valentines Day is purely an afternoon for detrimental sap men to spend ridiculous quantities of money simply by fact grasping agencies have brainwashed women persons into thinking no longer receiving something in this present day is a few extensive offense. I advise even to circulate to dinner, the charges have been raised. be happy which you no longer in basic terms have a evening to sit down down back with DVDs and beer, yet additionally which you're saving money doing so.

Make him a mix CD of your favorite songs or his favorite songs or both. Or even a CD of love songs that you feel express your feelings for him better than you maybe can. It's something personal and i think he should appreciate that you put the thought and the time into making it.

well , a good boyfriend should just be happy he is spending time with you on valentines day , but you have to look at his hobbies or stuff he talked about that he wanted but he never got , just remember the little stuff counts the most =]

Somehow I think the man should be the one who first makes a gift to his lady. Probably old fashioned though.
