this is another prime example of how our media makes us think this stuff is important, when it's absolutely a waste of my time, in my opinion.. She was an over-drugged over exposed wanna be. What are other peoples' opinions on this issue?

jealous? of what? sleeping with almost dead people? being so jacked up on drugs that you cannot even talk? I guess if i was a woman who didn't want to work, and be lazy for a living, i might be more interested in her life

Because she was a "celebrity" they are always blasting the media for those types. But as soon as someone who actually done something with their life and made a change in others they do not consider that a legend or legacy and hardly ever mention their deaths. The media is a big gossip trap so they look for stories that will keep their rating up and a story they can keep digging into to bring about more gossip. As far as the child goes...God knows all things but I guarantee everyone is going to try to see about her so they can have access to the leftover funds.

because she is a CELEBRITY. The media does that with every celebrity. It's NOT just her. Famous people that are well known around the world will get announced with everything that goes on in their lives, if you don't like it, then you don't have to watch it or complain about it. I do think that the media is too much as far as this guy "Larry" who thinks he's the father of Anna's newborn daughter. I think Larry just wants MONEY, now that Anna's dead, since he was bangin' her, he thinks he can claim the daughter, he will definitely go after her money. I think these people need to LEAVE HER ALONE & let her be in peace. According to all these law suits she was facing, don't you think SHE'S HAD ENOUGH, i mean, gosh...she's dead. How much more damage do people want to make of her death?

Just before Anna Nicole's death was plastered in the headlines yesterday, I got a call that a very dear friend died from a heart attack. He was in his early fourties, just became a grandpa, and was loved by many. Are you telling me you don't give a sh*t about my feelings or my friends family's feelings? Just because his death didn't make headlines doesn't mean you shouldn't be considerate of an unexpected death in someone's life. Same goes for Anna Nicole's fans, friends, and family. Everyone misses a loved one when there gone, respect that and quit being a jerk!!!

Because people love a good story. If it's trashy, so much the better.

Believe me, it's not some media executives deciding this. People are do seem to care.

And, there are some actually interesting things about her, trashiness aside.

For example, her taking her case to the US Supreme Court sets important legal precedent.

I care about Anna, I liked her and felt sorry for her for over 10 years she's been a media story from poor girl to riches.

the media gives us information to sell advertising time.
advertising makes money for their owners/bosses and for the reporters/cameramen/soundmen and on and on.
the media is about making money and giving us what we want.

anna nicole is liked by some of us and disliked by some of us and so that makes headlines for awhile .... when we stop talking and reading about her, then she no longer is a marketable commodity and the media will get mum on the subject.

the media isn't right or wrong it is only about feeding it's self

because Anna is a person I cared about & i think it is a big deal that she is gone forever.
I usually root for the underdog and YES I was rooting for her in the past few years.... I WISHED HER to find peace !
I wished her happiness !
Just cause she was born in a trailer park doesn't mean she isn't equally loved by people.
Poor folks or wealthy folks all feel love and despair equally .
ONE IS NOT BETTER THAN THE OTHER

I don't know why people care. I for one think it is because she just happened to be in the media spotlight for a while. Especially with the birth of her daughter and the death of her son. Her death just sort of happened all of a sudden. And that us why people ar etalking about it.

Oh look how many balls he has????? NONE! You talking about Anna like that after the fact she died yesterday is Disrespect. You don't have to like her, or pity her, but you can at least do what is right and drop it, let her past go, because now she doesn't' have a future anymore even no future with her daughter. Just drop it with the media. That's what they do, and they would do the same thing to you if you were a dead Celebrity!

I agree that the media does overplay the deaths of stars and starlets, but just because you don't like her or never heard of her doesn't mean she shouldn't get respect. If you think it's a waste of your time... WHY DID YOU POST THIS QUESTION???
