FIRST YOU SAY OH **** AND TAKE A DEEP BREATH. THESE ******* ARE THE WORST AND THEY CAN DO MIN- MASSIVE AMTS OF DAMAGE. PUT YOUR COMPUTER INTO SAFE MODE AND SCAN FOR IT USING YOUR SPYWARE, ANTIVIRUS AND GET RID OF IT ONCE IT'S FOUND. IF IT IS ATTACKING YOUR FILES AND SOFTWARE, YOUR DONE ALREADY AND YOUR BEST BET IS TO TO A DESTRUCTIVE SYSTEMS MEMORY DUMP--- WELL BASICALLY IT DESTROYS EVERYTHING AND GETS YOUR COMP. BACK TO IT'S ORIGINAL STATE THE WAY YOU BOUGHT IT.--I HAD TO DO IT FOR SOME ODD REASON AND I HAD NO DAMN VIRUS BUT- THEN GET YOURSELF AN EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE TO BACK UP FILES AND THAT NEEDS TO BE CLEANED TOO....GOOD LUCK AND NEXT TIME USE CCLEANER, SPYBOT SEARCH AND DESTROY-WATCH WHAT YOU DOWNLOAD-NO ZIP OR EXE FILES UNLESS CHECKED FIRST, AND MAKE SURE YOUR FIREWALL IS UP AND YOU HAVE AN ANTIVIRUS UP. SORRY BUT THATS ALL I KNOW...

(1) Get you self a good antivirus or a free one .
(2) If you have not already scanned your comp with spybot do that now .Update it
and then run it so it gets rid of all the spyware and trojans
(3a) Do an online virus scan to check if you still have any other viruses in your
computer. And let us know if the online virus scan still finds any virus or
spyware .
(3b) Install a good firewall

You have two choices:
1. You really need to tell me which Trojan horse it is. That is like asking me how to fix your car, when I dont even know what kind of car it is, or what is wrong with it. Type the name of the trojan exactly, into google, and you will likely get directions to remove it, because the the removal procedure varies widely with the trojan.
You can try downloading Ad Aware at www.majorgeeks.com and it may also work.
2. Reformat your hard drive and reload your OS. You dont need to know which trojan it is, you wipe everything! Next time, get smart and dont download stuff from popups or anysite you dont specifically trust.

Steps:
1.Close all your applications/internet browsers before continuing.
2.Try port-scanning ur system or look for any open ports related with that particular trojan (if u know the name).
3. After you know the port being used by that particular trojan, close that port using any of the firewalls.
4. Try deleting the infected files permanently (if it gives error like "particular file is in use", then kill the suspected process using that particular file, using task manager and then continue).
5. Use upadated antivirus and spyware to scan your system regularly.
6. Keep ur system patched with recent security-updates.

Boot your system into safe mode. Use an Antivirus program, such as, Norton, TrendMicro, Panda, etc... and this will remove the Trojan in most cases. If not go out to www.symantec.com and look for the removal instructions for the particular Trojan.

http://free.grisoft.com for a free and very good virus scanner/fixer.
google spybot search and destroy and install & run that. An excellent spyware checker.
Also go to www.lavasoftusa.com and get the free version of adaware (you'll have to look around for the free "personal" edition). Run that too. Do *not* do more than one scan at a time, and get rid of anything they warn you about.
This will solve most spy/virus problems.

I hope you have a good antivirus program. Suggest you run a full scan in Safe Mode.
Turn your PC on or Restart. As soon as you see the black and white screen, press and hold the F8 key. Continue holding until you see a black and white menu. Safe Mode is F3 or F5. From Start, Programs, run your AV program.
When it is finished, Restart. You will probably find your icons messed up. No biggee. Drag them back into place.

First download the Yahoo toolbar. On the toolbar, run Anti-spy. That should do the trick. If not, go to www.trend.com, they have a free virus check you could run.
