It's really a matter of opinion.
My personal preference of the 4 genres mentioned is Rock,
with R & B in 2nd place.

Depends on the time, place and mood, I'am fairly eclectic musically and pop seems to span a wider area; again time, place and mood...as well as company you have.(country,classical and all of the ethnic genre etc.... are worthwhile). Any thing that makes your knees move and ankles sway; and NO, absolutely NOOOOOO Barry Manalow or Joe Feeny!!!!!!!!!!

I would say for me the pop rock stuff, not the heavy metal or dance stuff, but I do love a bit of everything!

I prefer Alternative, BUT, and this is a huge but, I enjoy listening to alot of different genres.
