This is a good poem and your husband should appreciate it. While you're cleaning it up with correct punctuation and capitalization, consider rephrasing the last stanza to read:
Our future child
I see in your eyes;
One day he'll know
Why his daddy is mine.
What is important is that the words come from you and not from a perfected greeting card with all the frills. Design the card yourself and decorate it with a masculine theme.

Your poem isn't cheesy at all...it is a testimonial of love. Check your spelling though, because a poem that speaks of true love should be presented in the same perfect manner in which it was created. You are both blessed to have each other, and I am sure your hubby will feel the love with which you have created this lovely poem. I hope you both have a memorable Valentine's Day! Annie

I would be honored to receive a poem as such after 4 years of marriage. As a 30 year old man, I recommend that you go ahead and give it to him. I see a warm smile, a big hug, and a kiss in your future.
Not Cheesy at all.

No. It's totally cool. If you think he'll be uncomfortable... add another sheet (don't mess up the REAL poem) with another verse or line that is silly/funny (ex. "Oh yeah, and it doesn't hurt that you're smokin' hot!"). That will break the tension and let him laugh.... then he'll realize what you've written kicks *** and be glad that you did it. Good job... and congratulations. Enjoy.

YES!!!!! I promise you that it will not move him like you want it to. Guys don'tcare about that stuff, no matter what he tells you, he doesn't! He probably wont even read all of it, just stare at it blankly, and then in a fewseconds say...."Oh hunny, thats so sweet thank you." When will woman learn that men are REALY simple. All we want is the 3 F's in a relationship.
1.) Feed me
2.) F*ck me
3.) Shut the F*ck up
If you do those three things, he will be yours forever

Are you attempting to tell him you're pregnant? that's what i might think of. And the section that announces "his daddy is mine". looks like your newborn's father is likewise your father. i might purely circulate away out the final section. something sounds solid however. do no longer overlook to apply spell examine.

Who doesn't love melted cheese? If you want to guarentee that he will love the poem...put it in a red envelope and tape it to your navel....and wear a red bra and thong....He is sure to never forget it then.
