Drawn as in pencil thin?Get some more nib-bles down you, get rid of those etched lines and wax lyrical about the pastel.

i paint portraits and if the portrait is a good likeness you have done your job,perhaps it will make you look less harsh if you soften and blend lines,try taking a photo and drawing it upside down so you are not interpreting the lines

well i am a portrait artist and the person is doing what she sees have a word with them and they may change it, i would for you a bit.

I think it looks very nice and you shouldn't change it. It may be bad luck to change it like is is with a boat's name
