Are you shocked on what programs are on television now?
I mean, like Jerry Springer's show, people fighting each other and the audience cheering at them? What's the whole purpose of his show? Fun for the audience?
Childen are watching.

Yes I'm shocked. As far as Jerry Springer, those people can't be real. I think they're hired to act like that. I know there are low lifes in this world, but, certainly not THAT many! Who would go on national television and act like that if they weren't paid? If you were asked to go on wouldn't you know the news wasn"t good and why would you go?

Yes, i am shocked and I agree with you. I don't see the point of the show, its pretty much a bunch of "hick's" running around a stage finding a reason to beat on each other. what is that teaching the kids! Its pretty much teaching them that this is OK, that its OK to fight if its on TV and there are people cheering them on. I think that those shows shouldn't be allowed to air on public television. any show like that shouldn't be able to. I think that we need to put positive things on TV rather than negative ones.

I get the feeling that Jerry Springer is a required performance for all acting school students to be on in order to get their credits fulfilled. Come on! These people aren't real! They're actors! They're "Whose Line" wannabes!

I am shocked, I don't watch that **ap, I think those kind of shows are for all the losers who enjoy other people's pain and suffering. However, I still think Jerry is totally staged.

I think there is a tunnel from the trailer park to the Jerry Springer stage... I watch it cause it makes me feel better about my life... that my wife is not a transexual satan worshipper, or my mother is not my sister... so when I see it, I think that things could be alot worse

I like beer. When I drink too much beer, I will sometimes turn on Springer and laugh at the white trash on the show.

i live in chicago and the show is taped here. let me tell you something half of that stuff isnt real.....its just entertainment for the people. kids should not watch it but most of it is scripted anyway and the studio is alot smaller than it appears on TV........if your ever in chicago you should go see it for yourself, plus the tickets are free you just have to call and order them so they know how many people are coming, btw you can get upto 6 free tickets at a time and you have to keep your party proportional, like 3 guys 3 girls. anyway enjoy

The purpose is to get people like you to watch. His show doesn't even fall into the trash category, he even admits that it sucks. But as long as people are watching him he will be laughing all the way to the bank.
