Okay, here's one for you. I don't know if it silly or just plain nuts!!!
In Coopers Hill, England, they do this the last weekend of May.
Men and women hurtle 200 yards down a near vertical slope in pursuit of a seven-pound Double Gloucester cheese wheel. Hmmmmmm..........

And after someone gets the cheese, the tough part starts when they try to decide who cuts the cheese. :P
