I went into labour with my first baby 3 days after losing my plug but i hear it can still take weeks to go into natural labour. How pregnant are you? This may give you some indication, along with other signs some people get when labour is approaching.. You can always google for some more answers on any other symptoms you may be having. Sorry i can't be more help. Good luck in your upcoming birth.. Charlie.

For some people it is only a matter of hours for others it could be weeks. Not a good early indicator of labor. Plus once you loose your plug you will continue to have mucusy discharge as your body continualy makes this mucus as a defence mechanisim to protect the cervix from infection. Don't worry baby's don't go to kindergarten in utero.

Some women lose their plugs and never go into labor on their own. That happened with my first. They had to induce me after being late for 10 days.
Although it could happen within a couple of hours afterwards. And it can also grow back.

You can lose your mucus plug multiple times, as I did. It just forms back. With my second child I lost three times before it was the real deal. It's just an indication that stretching is occurring.

Best of luck to you!

Could be any time....today, tomorrow, a week, maybe 3 weeks. It is different for everyone. But when your water breaks dont wait go straight to L&D...they need to put you on antibiotics right away to prevent any infections.
