Dang you are into the hype by florist's. After the age of ten you only get Valentines day stuff for your current partner, and your children. Your dad gets something from you on Father's day, yhour mom on Mother's day, etc. Valentines is for your sweetheart, not everybody you can think of, or it would be called everybody's day.
And an Ex is an Ex for a reason, give him a hug and call it good. Thanks for the memories bud.

Nothing... You only get gifts for your children, the person you're in a relationship with (or want to be in a relationship with) and parents, mainly just mothers though- dad's don't really care about valentine's day

I always think a wallet is a nice platonic gift.
And to all the people who want to put rules on Valentine's Day, no one should ever miss out on an opportunity to let someone know how much they mean to you. Regardless of whether you are sleeping with them or not.
Go on with your bad self, girl!

Do you know how refreshing it is to see another beautiful woman who knows and cares about an ex because she knows in her heart that nobody can ever take that little chunk of her heart (the part that is always reserved for him?) away, yet still love that person? Baby you are so beautiful. You will go so far in your life if you keep that attitude. I don't know you but I love you because you are emotionally in tune and so intelligent. Any man that doesn't want you is an idiot! Happy Valentines day. Big hugs, thanks for making my day! :) ((((Sheri))))

Valentine's Day is a holiday for current companions; if you are older than 10, don't get gifts for people you are not dating/engaged to /married to.

Just send him a "friendly card" more like "I appreciate being your friend" than "I still think you're hot". A card should let him know that you still care about him and remember good times.

I would only get him something if you expect something from him, or know that he will get you something. On good terms I would say, a cheesecake, men love cheesecake.
