Which Hotels in Vegas is the best for the younger College Crowd?

Since the only "cool" thing you can do under 21 is hang out at the pool, I'd vote Hard Rock or Palms. Mandalay's pool is really nice but it's all under construction right now.

Tropicana might be a good bet if you want to stay on the Strip but don't want to spend a fortune. Good location to be based out of if you're cruising up and down seeing the sights, and the rooms are surprisingly large in the towers, so you can squeeze a few people in and split the cost.

Not to sound like a broken record but a lot of it depends on your age. If you are not 21 there isn't much you can do in this city.

If money is tight I'd go for Treasure Island or the Hard Rock. Perhaps even the Rio. It doesn't much matter where you stay as you'll only be there to sleep. And who sleeps in Vegas?!

The best hotels for younger college crowd are probably the cheaper ones. Most college students don't have a lot of money and tend to spend most of their money on gambling, drinking, shows, or other activities in Vegas. The cheaper the hotel, the more you can spend on fun activities. You can actually get a room at Circus Circus for only $37 a night depending on the time of year you go.

They are all good, who cares what the hotel is, you have the entire city at your fingertips, so if you don't like one in particular, you just move on to the next, they are mainly all within walking distance. I would do like a bar hopping thing, a tour, where you just go from one to another to another and find what you are looking for. There is a mixed crowd in almost all of the hotels, its not like one hotel is only old people and another is only young people. Its a really exciting city and lots to do. Maybe start at the Hard Rock and work your way around the city.

Palms,Hard Rock, Hooters, nothing will be enjoyable unless your 21 and can prove it. Security forces do not like to be insulted so if they ask do not smart off. Leave like a gentleman or lady if your not 21 and questioned.
No make up does not make a 19yo women look 21, because these people have seen the best makeup artist in the world here.

Hard Rock or the Palms but neither are right on the strip.
Circus Circus is a little ghetto, but it is cheap.
The Sahara isn't too bad.
MGM is good, too.
Excalibur is cheezy.

It depends on your budget.
I had friends stay at the HoJo by the airport which was cheap but fine.

I recommend looking for a package deal through a travel agent. The casinos will partner up with airlines to give you a deal.

If you are under 21 you cannot go on the casino floor. I would say go to Mandalay Bay or MGM since they have huge outdoors pools. Chris Angel is filming in the Luxor, so you may be able to see him do a stunt.

Vegas is not for underage people.
