I know there are about 10 to 12 million Lebanese all over the world and are among the most successful people. The question is, why the Lebanese of Lebanon are so behind their next door neighbor? and why aren't they doing something about it. Also I could not understand why the Lebanese abroad are not helping them?

Well the problem is that for Lebanon is:
1- Not all Lebanese are united together.
2- Some people from the govt. are taking money for their own bank accounts.
BUT! The Lebanese are ranked to be very smart and most of the smartest people in the world are Lebanese.
All they need to do is to be stronger and by that they need to UNITE.

About how much a teacher gains in Israel and in Lebanon.........it has nothing to do about who is smarter. The only thing here is that the money of the world is jew. Even......jews out of Israel support the inside country economy.
Lebanon was just recovering after 30 years of "syrian visit" and a war, when some silly decided start another war when the lebanese economy was waiting 1 million and a half of tourists.
How can Lebanon be well with that?
Jews arent smarter.....jews have more money.
But have to say too, that lebanese are losing the opportunity of having a strong economy , because are so much busy fighting ones against the others... JOIN and work together!!!

all of us be conscious of that out of that one hundred forty billion, 139 billion money come from the U. S. tax payers. Israelis at the instant are not smarter than the lebanese, they only have the U. S. helping them out. Take out the U. S. aide protection rigidity and economically, Israel could be nothign yet a third international usa in simple terms like the Lebanese human beings.

Your facts are a bit off. Avg Israeli teacher's salary is in the range of $18K to $22K per yr. Israeli army's size is about 180,000 standing troops (but less than half of them serve in fighting units since women don't fight), but with reserves, it can reach about 600K troops. Israel's GDP is $166 Billion and GDP per capita is $26,200, but I think these numbers understate things a lot since 50% of Israel's population (e.g., many religious Jews), for one reason or another, doesn't participate actively in Israel's economy.
If you want more salient statistics to compare, then I recommend looking into literacy, % of adult population with university and post-university degrees, and total number of Nobel Prizes won (Israel has won 5, I believe, in economics, chemistry, medicine, and physics, to 4 for the entire Muslim world). While I don't believe that these statistics, individually or collectively, are conclusive of much of anything they can paint a general picture.
It is curious that Lebanon's GDP isn't higher, because Lebanese, especially the Christians, are known for their business savvy, even here in Israel.
I know many of you will disagree with me, an Israeli on this, but I think your country could be 10x better off without Nasrallah. I get the impression that inspite of the wealth of human talent in Lebanon, Nasrallah is at his most powerful and popular when the greatest number of people are poor, unemployed and disenfranchised. His charitable acts of funding schools, housing construction, and so on, would be most attractive to people when they have nothing. If people improve their lot and become successful, then he loses his political footing. That, in my opinion, is why the man needs war with Israel.
And as an aside, I know many people here (understandably, to some extent) have this perception of Israel as being an imperialist and aggresive state, but just consider the following:
-imperialists do not return the Sinai Peninsula, Gaza, and southern Lebanon
-if Israel's true intentions were, in fact, to conquer and dominate other peoples just consider the immense human and economic costs that this would pose to Israel, which has a comparatively strong economy (that is, it's rather self-defeating for Israel, from an economic standpoint, to fight bloody wars with Lebanon and the Palestinians and so on without reasonable provocation from the other side, which in contrast doesn't stand to lose as much economically from fighting wars)
-most Israelis don't support the settlers or occupation, but as a democracy in which all sides have a say in the country's coalition government, sometimes we have to accept the unpopular agendas of other political factions

Yes but both are not smart enough or else they would both live in peace and harmony.
What good is money in a place where you could be bombed by a lunatic when you are going home from work.
What good is the strongest army in the world if Hezbollah kicked their hinnies.
What good is a country with a strong economy if they do not have peace to expand.
Neither is smarter than the other, they have both hatred based on false beliefs about each other.
If they were smart they would open their eyes and think with their smart heads.

Mr lb, your analogy is so shallow, uninformed and biased ( not to mention that your figures aren't even accurate)
Besides the fact that you are measuring people's smartness by the amount of money they make ( which doesn't make you a very smart person yourself). I am no expert in economy but it is obvious that you did not take in consideration
1- the cost of living on each side
2- the amount of money and weapons that israel needs from the USA and Germany and the western allies to keep afloat.
3- and the fact that Israel is so threatened by our potential, that it will never let us flourish ( they are more powerful, yes!!)
I also think that it is hilarious that when you didn't get us to respond to your silly statement/question you pushed the immaturity to the point of telling us that if we answered we will be helping Lebanon better itself.
I somehow don't think that Middle East politics is quite at your level, please ask questions in topics within your league and we'll be more than happy to oblige.
There, I've shared my ideas, will you now make us better?

Yes.
Note for other Posters: I threw him the bone. I stopped reading the question after I reached the part where the Israeli teacher makes $30,000 yearly (that is approximately 127,000 NIS).
