God rest her soul. I am not making fun of her. However, the fact remains that she WAS a trainwreck. Do you think her daughter might do better in life in a more stable environment than growing up in the shadow of such a crazy lifestyle?

Note:
Those of you who say "a child is always better off with their parent no matter how crazy their parent is" are DEAD wrong. The graveyards, prisons, and mental hospitals are full of people who would have been better off without their natural parent. The ability to get pregnant does NOT a parent make. There are a lot of sick people who should NOT be allowed to raise children because even if they love them their very presence destroys the child. You got to have a license to have a dog, but anybody can have a child. Now where is the sense in that!?

Dude, I totally hear what you're saying. So many people automatically assume that a child is best off with the biological parent and that is just not the way it goes. A child is best off with whomever is going to raise them right and give them the most stable, caring and loving environment in which to thrive and that is not always gonna be the mom or dad. Lots of times it's a granparent or an aunt or an adoptive family. In a perfect world, yes. But we are in far from a perfect world. As for ANS baby being better off without her, it depends on who ends up with custody of this poor kid. If she ends up with people who always put her best interests first and care for her the way a child should be cared for, then yes, she will be better off. I honestly believe that that child was going to be taken from ANS anyway. I know she adored her son and I am sure she was just as in love with her daughter, but in my opinion, she was not a suitable parent. Her son was messed up and it's unfortunate but it happens. Regardless of where she ends up, I would love to see that little girl grow up in a stable environment and just have a chance at the life she deserves.

I don;t know...I don't think a child should ever lose a parent at such a young age...and the whole paternity thing is going to be ugly...

But I am in favor of children being raised in the best environment possible to promote their physical and mental well-being. I don;t know if life with a mother like Anna-Nicole would have provided that environment.

It's a sad situation for all involved.

anna might have been wild in her days but the media did nothing but say how much she loved her children that baby will grow up with knowing only what the press say and every time anna messed up it was on the front page imagine our life on page 1 for everyone to see(god forbid) and that image of that baby's mother in her head when she gets older she will never have the chance to see how her mother really was behind closed doors anna was beautiful and last time i checked i was not perfect nor was she so who are we to judge her, every time i saw her with Daniel she was showering him with love,I feel Anna was doing her job ,she was an entertainer and she did her job very well she entertained us,she was always surprising us and she was not a boring person i feel so bad for that innocent child and the rude things people already have said about poor Anna i thought she was funny and gorgeous and i will miss her

I do not know how Anna Nicole was when the cameras were off, but I do know that it will be hard for her daughter to live without her mother and her brother, emotionally. If the real Anna Nicole was how we saw her on television (seeming high as a kite), then I would have to yes, she will have a better chance at a stable life without her.

I understand what you are saying. Anna Nicole Smith was a mess. But I also have to agree with the people who say that no child should be with out their parents. It's sad that it happened, but who knows if the baby would be better off or not?

Who knows, it will be very hard for the child to be w/out her mother - because despite how screwed up she acted, I beleive that she truly loved her children. It was clearly evident in her interactions w/her son. So that will be a huge gap in the child's life.
But really, can celebrity children have a "normal" life?

Yes I think the baby will have a healthier life and happier life without here and without all the hollywood mess.

I do hope that that berkhead is the father and he gets custody and that the baby can finish growing up with some type of peace.

She may have been a train wreck...but i do believe her daughter would have greatly benefited having her in her life! Her overbearring grief from losing her son was a major factor to her behaviour these last couple months...and well no one is perfect and we all make mistakes!

Maybe you should ask people who have lost there mothers at a young age and didn't get to know there mothers. I lost my mother at a young age, don't remember her at all. If she were a "train wreck" I still would have wanted to have her in my life. No one should grow up without a mother or a father.

I do believe she loved her children and despite the things she did and didn't do, she didn't deserve to die like this..... not knowing anything about her ex - larry - but he seems to be stable and I hope the baby is his. That Stern guy is a whacko and I believe he had somethign to do with her death and her sons death -
