Well I'm Scottish but live in England and i agree with you but i have to say it happens with more than just the weather. You just need to watch Scottish news instead they will give you a fuller picture. Well as for the "sever weather" in England at the moment what a joke we had on day of snow and the whole of the southeast came to a standstill. I know exactly what your saying and agree with you fully, simply the reason is England does not care they do the same to Wales and northern Ireland for the weather too. You'll just have to poke up with it I'm afraid they are never going to change, sad but true. Anything north of the border might as well be Alaska for all they care.

The BBC has become fanatically anti-Scottish in the last few years, it is therefore a deliberate snub rather than merely not caring whether Scotland is adequately covered by the weather forecasts. Why else would they tilt the map so much, reduce the amount of weather icons over Scotland, and slide sideways and south again rather than bringing Scotland into the centre of the picture briefly?

The same happens to Wales- If you notice they always tell you in great detail about the south east and then the rest of England, and then 'oh yeah and it might snow in Wales but probably not in Scotland' It because media types that live in London think everyone else lives in London too! Not to worry though- I always use the local forcast on Ceefax

what's the problem, all local news gives local weather. I rarely take notice of national weather, i watch the regional stuff, they're always better.

It never changes, it's lucky if there is only 12 hours of drizzle!
