Does anyone else feel like I do, that they made a big mistake putting such a huge gap of waiting in this season... I feel like I lost a lot of enthusiasm for the show and found other shows to get addicted to in the meantime. Season One was the very best, I wish they stayed with the history of each character theme more than this stuff about the guy with the back surgery, see - I can't even remember his name it was sooooo long ago. I think that big gap in the season made me realize it isn't the greatest show on earth anymore, at least for me.

You've gotta be kidding. It's an awesome show and what they did was no worse than showing 50 million repeats during the season.

I think that gap should have been between seasons and not mid season. Didn't bother me TOO much because its 16 new episodes in a row now instead of the horrible way they did season 2.

What I hate more is the move to a later hour. ugh.

I hated the sporadic new episodes/repeats of season 2.

Season one was ok.

What they COULD do, and I wouldn't mind, is show all 24 episodes in a row, then when fall comes around and people are pissed because the new season isn't here yet, is play the season again... get what I mean?

That would rock, imo.

I agree with Lost in DC. It really doesn't matter what they do with Lost, people are going to be upset. If they hold off next season and show all 24 episodes at once, people will complain when fall comes around and it's not on. If they show it like a traditional show there will be repeats and people will complain.

I think we're expecting some kind of miracle with the programming, and bottom line, it's a business.

I totally understand how you feel, and I believe that the writers and people behind LOST are aware of these issues. I think that they as writers develop ideas and plots for each character, however, each character is bringing their "A game"...so they have to alter the story accordingly.

And, seeing as how intricately every single thing is placed in LOST, in order to protect the show's authenticity, one has to be careful and aware of every detail.

I implore you to watch it, and supplement the show with web sites and additional information.

When I first began watching LOST during Season 1 (it was during one of those long hiatuses...and I think 24 was off, so I was able to catch up) I found it fascinating. When I started looking at sites and listening to podcasts, I found that I was merely scratching the surface as to what this show is about.

I finally feel that the show has reached its momentum, and is quickly gaining pace towards something extremely awesome, and I'd hate to have you miss it. Its on now at 10PM EST to not compete with Idol...so give it one more try.

I am sure you will not be disappointed.

Great question!

I agree! I have the first season on DVD, it is the best. Did you know they originally only wrote for one season? (that maybe why the second season was sooooooooooooo short, but I'm not sure of that)
What happen to the "spooky mist". The first season they didn't want to leave the beach, now they are all over the place. I think there should be more of the "thriller" type theme...
But what can I say, I will still will watch, as I'm sure you will also...

I agree - they may have lost a lot of followers with that gap instead of making people sit on the edge of their seats waiting for it to return. It is okay and I will probably tape it and watch it later. It seems that not only do they take a big break, but they frequently rerun or re-cap the shows.

I prefer the big gap instead of them playing repeats every other week....

if they would have had the gap in between seasons that would have been about 8 months or so of no LOST, people would really loose interest then..

I hated the big gap but I still love the show. I'm so interested in finding out more about the "others". Ben is the one who had back surgery to remove a tumor.

Yes this show is losing it's momentum in a hurry Everything is getting weird and incongruous. It is like they are making it up as they go along.
