there is no plural for furniture because it's not meant to describe a single item. Furniture is a catagory term to describe a multitude of different items that have or don't have any similarities. Cars is a term to describe many different vehicle types but all cars have similar traits such as tires, a motor, etc... that's why we can pluralize cars.
