I am currently 37 weeks pregnant with my second child. It has been a very long and painful pregnancy (SPD, amongst other things..) I feel very large and am only 5ft 2in, and feel my baby is getting too big for my body to cope with the strain. My midwife agrees that he is a fair size already. I have been having some symptoms of late, like a dull back ache that comes and goes, alot of pressure, increased vaginal discharge, and crampy feelings in my lower abdomen. Sometimes my vagina also feels a little swollen and sore, oh yeah and stabbing pains in my lower abdomen.. I was wondering if these were like pre-labour signs maybe.. Clutching at straws probably but if i knew i was close i maybe would not feel so miserable.. Also i had my first baby at 39 weeks, does that higher the chances i maybe a little early with this one too? Many thanks for any replies, Charlie. x

If you've got the time to type this long question, you've got the time to call a doctor or hospital.....you may be in early labor, the baby may be stressed (because of his size or other reasons). A midwife is NO DOCTOR.....CALL ONE
