I think she was a gold digger with little to no shame. It's sad that her daughter will never know her, though.

She was Trailer trash at its finest.
If you don't believe me, look at her documentary where they interview her family.
1- They live in trailer parks
2- most of them have no teeth
3- Anna was 24/7 drunk and on drugs
This is the life she chose for herself and she ended paying for it like all other people who run around doing this crap.
By the way if Paris Hilton doesn't stop she will end up like this. Same with Nicole Richie who did Heroine for a few years!

I think the poor thing was a tragedy magnet. Everything she tried turned out badly. She finally fried every brain cell she could ever hope to have. Sad, very sad.
I know that little baby girl will inherit a lot of $$, but I hope she doesn't inherit the insane addictions, too.

I agree with you SheSoFly - That Stern guys was the common denominator is both Annas death and her sons death. I think he is trying to lay claim to that little girl so he can cash in on potential money that little girl may inherit. I say they shouuld do the paternity test quick - and not knowing much at all about Larry Birkhead - he does appear to be sane....

Charley whatshisface on ABC nightly news did the weirdest obit anyone has ever had for her. He went the whole "famous for being famous" route. He grappled to explain her fame.
It's not hard. She was a sexpot, ala Marilyn Monroe or any Miss Universe you care to name. She didn't have to be talented. She exuded glamour and eroticism, and that was enough.
Why does everyone have to try to sound so smart and ironic these days? Does Ms. Smith have to have the news media's approval to exist?

I think she was a good ol' girl caught up in the bullshit celebrity world. I can't imagine the stuff that she has had to go through. The media is a bunch of rabid dogs trying to get a bite. And her mother.......that hag should be burned at the stake! Imagine....your own mother not standing up for you! It makes me sick. Know one really knows about her pressures or the things she had to go through. I can't even imagine loosing your child. I would have been inconsolable! I hope she is up there in heaven smiling down on her friends and loved ones!

I never like to speak ill of the dead but she was a nobody. It's just another example of Americans making a nobody into a somebody (just like Paris Hilton). Like Hilton, she was just a blonde bimbo, nothing more.

She was human just like us. She had a rough life. She was a mother, wife, daughter, sister, cousin, friend. I feel sad. People were brutal to her through out life. I hope she's in peace now.

She was special in her own way.......
I don’t think celebrities are more important; however, they're in public eyes, so you can't help for media or even us not to talk about them, PERIOD!!!!
I feel really bad & sad.... I don't personally know her or anything, but I feel so sad for her daughter.
People are just too quick to judge her.... she was this, she was that…… we’re HUMAN BEING and the fact that she's dead, so just give it a rest!
RIP….
