ok, i already have a ps3, and a ps2, but i am DYING for an x-box 360, but my dad won't let me get one, i have my own money, he says 'for a girl, that is just too much, you should be happy with what you already have,' while he sits and plays the ps3 ALL DAY and i can never play it.. and the ps2 sucks.. so i need to know how to convince my dad on how to get one, and any games u have in mind? (i like shooting games... u know.. war games, u shoot a gun lots of blood, people die.. yea.)

that's a tough one since you already have a PS3. You could just get Resistance: Fall of Man for PS3, which is an awesome war/shooting game.
Maybe you could negotiate with your dad and strike a deal with him (doing chores or paying half or something) for a 360. As far as 360 shooting games, it'd probably be easiest to check out the 360 section on www.ign.com

Well how old are you? I have a 360 and I dont find many of the games to be that interesting. I love halo and gears of war. But you can play Halo on the original box.
I get it! :-O Your dads a gamer and he loves the PS3 it looks like.. And well most people who have the Playstation dont want the 360. And the other way around like they are true to their brand! Its crazy but I hear soo many people complain about that. Maybe ur dad really loved the Playstation so he's thinkin that you'll waste ur money on a 360. There is alot of issues with the 360 Mine went bad in the first hour of playing it and had to go back and get another one. So good Luck on that. Wait until there is a game thats comin out that you can convince him that you want sooo bad that you'll need the 360 for! that should work especially if he's a gamer too! haha..

Wow, do you have an older sister or aunt who is single? hehe.. I can never find a girl who wants to play games like that!
Well, since your dad is using the ps3 all the time, that's what I would tell him. Just say, "Dad, since you're playing the ps3, if you got me an Xbox 360, I would be able to play on that and not bug you." Surely he'll see it your way, eventually!

if you already have your own money... then buy the thing... if he is playing the PS3 all the time... why don't you talk to your mom about giving him some incentive to not be on the couch all the time... and maybe have some 'family' things they can do... while you rock your xbox 360 playing 'gears of war' or 'lost planet' ... 'fear' is supposed to be good too

why do you need both? You should happy with what you got, because they are much the same thing. I have PS3 and my friends have 360, and I really don't see a difference in the two.

Personally I think 360 is a bad system, but if you have the money for it, then just go out and get it. I have 3 systems in my house and they are all mine.

do not buy an xbox 360!!!!!
they are so bad!!!
every couple of months you have to buy new discs because they spin so fast!!
its the biggest waste of money ever
