Cat is aware that Dragon deserves mega compliments at all times, but folks like Dragon's boss are not likely to change their attitudes unless they have an ulterior motive; perhaps Dragon's boss wants something? Cat would worry.

Don't worry, your boss has probably realized that that he\she has not been giving out enough compliments recently, and is trying to let you know that you are a valuable employee.
