Do you like Briseis for a girl? It's pronounced Bri-say-iss (I got it from the movie Troy)
Other girl names I've come up with are:
Suhayla (sue-hay-luh)
Olivia
Olicia (oh-liss-e-uh)
Ameera (uh-meer-uh)
Zairah (zare-uh)
but I think I like Briseis best. Know any good middle names?

You asked
Olivia Briseis
I like names that people know how to pronounced
If you like it, go for it
I have problems with names you need to spell a different way to pronounce
Congratulations

How about Olivia Briseis
Briseis Olivia is good too
Briseis Amaria
Briseis Amarie
the thing you want to be careful of is not making the name too unique instead of giving your child a name of pride you may be saddling them with a name that is going to be nothing but a source of ridicule or at least difficulty for their lifes so put a lot of thought into the name you choose for your child whatever it may be

I love Zairah and Olivia but I think Zairah Breeze would be a beautiful name.
I'm not fond of Briseis. I think people will have a hard time pronouncing and spelling it.

I really love the name Ameera. It's cute for a little girl, and will still work when she's an adult. It could also be nice with Briseis as the middle name.

I love the movie Troy so I do like Briseis, but I think I would spell it differently, because looking at it it is awfully hard to pronounce.

just so that yu know (not saying it's not a cute name, but...) Briseis is the equivalent of a sex slave to Achilles. in the actual illiad, Achilles refuses to fight in the war until Patrocles is killed because he's moping that Agamemnon took Briseis away from him (i can't remember why, but he did) i just thought you might like to know that, since Troy is not exactly accurate...
if you really like that name, i think Briseis Marie sounds kindA cute. or why don't you use one of the other names that you liked as her middles name? like Briseis Ameera?
and i honestly don't think Briseis is that hard to pronounce....but i had to be able to so maybe it's just me.... congrats either way!!

my fav combos would be Briseis Olicia or Ameera Briseis
goodluck :)
i might also think about spellng it a bit different...what about Bresayis?? Brisayis?
