Stay far FAR away from red. A professional look is best. Not casual so no jeans and make sure your cloths fit. I was a foreperson on a jury and the suit the guy was wearing was about 3 sizes to big and I thought to my self...he would have looked better if he had wore something that fit.
Make sure you don't wear too much make up.

The bottom line is to just look respectful of the court. Usually blue or black will do the trick. Nothing short or low cut. You can find an inexpensive blouse/slacks/ or skirt anywhere and still look very nice.

I am a former paralegal and I would suggest that you wear either black or maybe even a pastel color to gain the sympathy of the jury. Don't wear red, it sends a negative message.

Never mind what you "look good in". You're there because you were run over, and you're also there to prevent the driver going free and running someone else over. Someone who may not get up again. Focus on what's happening, not clothes. You should know to wear a conservative color...grey, brown, black, navy. That said, I hope the outcome is fair. Best of luck

You should wear Navy Blue...I have testified many times in court and Navy Blue is a very professional looking color and the judge will take you very serious. Pearls go well with it also.

If you ask a lawyer, then he or she would probably tell you to wear white clothing. White suggests purity, innocence, and goodness.
It's not enough to be an innocent victim. You have to look like one in order to get a good judgement in your favor.
Also, a lawyer would probably tell you to loose that purple hair color, if you can. Wear a wig or change the color of your hair.
Looking like an ordinary person also helps to win sympathy from the judge.

Dark colors are typically more professional looking. As a victim of a hit and run by an illegal with no insurance - I hope you get what's yours. I'm tired of these people that think that the laws don't apply to them.

I would be safe and wear the usual black, Grey or navy blue pants / skirt, jacket suit with a starched white shirt. Maybe you could add a red broach with matching red accessories like a red purse and shoes, as an added personal touch to this ensemble.

RED.....is a "POWER" color, like the red power tie..woman in red dress ( sexiest woman in the room ). stay away from Red, you may look stunning, but you want to keep the tone in the courtroom subdued. Dress professional, but not over the top, well groomed with a home town girl appeal. Trust me, no bare midriff, no nose ring, no cleavage, just good old... mom's apple pie. A good Lawyer is going to tell you this stuff, if he/she hasn't ask them why...a little advice from me....limp, pout and speak only when spoken to. You are a Victim...act like one in court.

i say you wear black, it's not to outrageous and it looks good in my opinion. It's okay to wear red i guess just not if your wearing some reavealing red dress or something. I don't see anything wrong with that color in court. Maybe to a funeral but even then, so sorry about ur accident i'd say wear what color you want
