Valentine's Day is really a bogus Hallmark holiday. I honestly don't know why people buy into the whole thing if it's only going to make single people feel badly. If not having a date on February 15th or March 1st or July 23rd doesn't depress you, it shouldn't upset you if you don't have a date on the 14th of February.
Were I you, I would not think of February 14th as Valentine's Day. It's YOUR BIRTHDAY! So, do whatever you'd like to do! You don't need a date to celebrate your own birthday! Eat cake!

If there's someone you like, you could ask the person out and maybe get a Valentine's date. Otherwise, you could just hang out with friends who also don't have dates. And if you don't have any close friends who are single, depending on your gender or age, you could either buy yourself flowers,a card and a cute stuffed animal and eat a box of chocolates and a carton of Ben & Jerry's while watching a Romantic Comedy movie marathon (like i did for years before i found my BF) or you could hang out at a bar or a Strip Club :p, or whatever single guys do on V-Day. But hopefully you could find a date (even have a friend hook you up for a double-date, if it comes to it) or at least have a friend to hang out with, though, because no one should have to be alone for their B-Day or V-Day

my friends and i have a tradition of going to see scary movies on Valentines day- start a tradition with friends! or find a date. there are plenty of dating sites out there and plenty of people without a date who would love to go out on Vday.

do what I am doing with out a date, go out with friends or stay home watch tv or either curl up with a good book.
