Rep Jose Serrano (D-New York) has put legislation to congress that says any ILLEGAL that has a child in the US is granted the entire family citizenship for the "sake of the kids" Is this a good idea?
Corrollary: Section 8 of the United States code, 1324 (a) (1) (A) (iv) (b) (iii) says "a person (including a group of persons, business, organization, or local government) commits a federal felony when she or he: assists an illegal alien she/he should reasonably know is illegal in the US.... or knowingly assists illegal aliens due to personal convictions."

I would think not. I'd say Rep Serrano 'might' be guilty of violation of Section 8.

This is his way to justify criminal behavior and make it easy for them to break the law. The Rep should be deported for his anti American stance. This is why we have the problems at our borders when you have ignorant democrats fighting any security every step of the way with tripe like this.
