Well, yeah. It's called "dating". You go out with somebody and talk with them and find out what they think about stuff.
Compatible people:
Have life goals that they can work towards together. Someone who wants to have a big family and someone who wants no kids ever? Not compatible!
Respect each other's feelings and beliefs, even if they don't necessarily agree. You can have an atheist and a Christian be compatible, but NOT if the atheist secretly thinks the Christian is a moron and the Christian secretly thinks the atheist is hellbound.
Enjoy each other's company apart from any sexual aspects. You guys have fabulous sex but the last time you tried to have a normal conversation the police had to be called? You are not compatible.

My husband says that you take a huge risk on your wife/husband when you marry them. He's right, you do. No, there is no 100%, fool proof, sure fire way to know if you're going to be "compatible," other than your gut. But, I have to say, even if you do believe you are compatible when you marry, you have to work to remain that way. Marriage is a verb, it requires hard work. Ask anyone who considers themselves happily married, and they'll say it takes work, it takes sacrifice, and it takes compromise. But the rewards are well worth it in the end.

well, you both could go on eharmony.com and pay all that money to take the test and see if you are compatible, otherwise it is a risk you are taking.
