Right after the election Democrats were calling Bush a "lame duck" president who wouldn't be able to get anything passed...but it seems that Dems are the ones having trouble passing legislation.
They can't get their anti-surge non-binding resolution through the Senate, they can't get any debate on Iraq, Pelosi can't get her 42 leather seat game room/shower/bedroom super plane, they can't pin anything on Bremer, no impeachment of Bush, no troops brought home, etc etc etc.
Looks like Democrats are REAL lame ducks. Agree?

Yes, I agree. Bush has them trapped in a box. It doesn't matter what kind of resolutions they try to pass, It's not going to get our soldiers out of Iraq. They also can't stop funding for the troops because it will make them look bad. So I think they truly are trapped in a box. But hey, they did it to themselves. And people call Bush stupid? Yeah, that'll be the day.

They have had control of the House and the Senate for less than a month and you are already calling them "lame ducks"? I can't imagine what you call the Bush administration after being in office for 6 years, starting an illegal war, taking a 300 billion dollar surplus in 2000 and turning it into a 500 billion dollar surplus 6 years later, a continuation of ruining the environment, taping your mail, email, cell phone and lanline calls, stopping stem cell research that would save lives but supporting anti abortion activities ( and the fetus has no neurological development, the brain synapses aren't firing, so it really is not "a life" ) so you tell me, who are the lame ducks? If you opened your eyes to opinions other than what you get on your trailer park porch drinking texas piss, or after going to your "Bush is God and god is Bush" church, you might see things a little differently. By the way, how come you aren't in Iraq fighting the 'terrorists'? Probably because you are too fat from eating McDonalds for breakfast lunch and dinner?

No the general public are the "lame ducks" for allowing these corrupt, money-obsessed liars leading awful governments to manipulate and fool (rob) our countries. It's time for a revolution... ;-)

lol that is really humorous! i became taking a early existence progression type in college years in the past, and between the failings it in certain mentions is to "not in any respect tell the youngster 'wait till your father/mom receives abode." even as the instructor requested us if it ever occurred in our houses, the lady next to me reported her mom were doing it for years, yet her dad hasn't come abode yet. we do not attempt this throughout our abode nonetheless. My son thinks both me and Mr Dawna are both evil.

Representative Government is lame they are serving themselves first & only providing the public with lip service & smoke screens! Back to business as usual to hell with the public, what else is new? When are any of you bums "legal public" going to organize to do something about it?
