to repeat what others have said, it burns, and feels like a huge thing is coming out, which it is. BUT it doesn't last long and the best feeling is to feel the rest of the slippery baby slip out of you. i had my baby naturally, and trust me, as soon as the baby is out, there is NO PAIN, all joy! Good luck!

There are a few females who're so anxious (and even disgusted) through childbirth that they prevent being pregnant altogether and on no account have youngsters. I wager they suppose they only are not able to move by way of with it although they could wish children. Childbirth is painful there is not any denying that. It's alright to suppose petrified of that quantity of discomfort to an volume, so long as the worry does no longer get out of manipulate to the level that it influences your existence. The discomfort is potential, chiefly these days in hospitals they are able to do plenty to relieve the discomfort and it is just going to be for a couple of hours besides. It involves an finish, after which you've gotten a lovely little one to exhibit to your labours.

Depends on if you are doing it naturally or with the help of an epidural. I had my first child naturally and the second with an epidural. In natural childbirth it will hurt a bit, you will feel intense pressure and a large object (the baby) emerging, I instinctively tried to close my legs. You will also have burning and pain. With an epidural it was just pressure. By the way I strongly suggest an epidural, just talking from experience.

If this is your first baby, don't go to the hospital right away,
because for me it took about 35 hours. The crowning means
the baby is starting to come out and it's almost all over so
you're say "thank God.". PS - get an epidural if you can!

Crowning feels very tight and intense. Sometimes you feel a burning or tingling feeling sometimes it's more numb or full feeling. Alot depends on how your body natural stetches and how long the baby's head is on your perinum. Don't fear it, this feeling doesn't last that long and then baby is born.

I agree with helen...it felt like I was going to make the biggest bowel movement in front of my mom, husband, the doctor, and three or four nurses.
