Valentine's Day (February 14th) is a day in which guys disappoint their girlfriends by not being able to meet their unreasonable and outlandish expectations.
Guys give chocolate and roses on Valentine's Day, and then wait to have it taken for granted.

Hopefully the only day celebrated would be Valentines day itself, on Feb. 14th.
All the other holidays are so commercialized. Valentines day is becoming as bad.
A simple flower or card should be sufficient. That is, ofcourse, unless someone's proposing, then it should be a little more expensive.

u can check at the website 123greetings.com. They have a list of every day having some name:may it be funny or serious.
I know only of two Shrove Tuesday or Pancake day on The second Tuesday(THE SAME WEEK WITH VALENTINE'S DAY)
and Chinese new year on The 18th of Feb.

February 14th is the day to give chocolates and flowers to the one you love. (Like a husband or boyfriend.)
Edit: I never expect anything from my husband and have told him to save the money...it's his choice...he always gives me a gift...but I think the best gift is TIME spent together.
I can't blame him because I give to him also....lol
