Muscles arise at an origin and this is usually a broad area and narrow into a tendon to insert on the bone that will be moved. For example, the flexor compartment muscles arise mainly around the radius and ulna and insert on the phalanges after passing through the carpal tunnel and anchored by the reticulum that prevents the tendons bowstringing when flexed. Contraction of these muscles causes that force to be transmitted along the muscle and concentrate in the tendon to curl the fingers enabling grasp. Tendons are elongations of muscle.

Ligaments attach bone to bone and it's definitely NOT rubber bands. Connective tissue is somewhat correct, but the best answer is C tendons.
