"When We Dance" by Sting is an exceptional song which taps straight to your heart, the theme of the song being that if anyone else loves the singer's object of his affections as much as he does, his life will be rendered pointless. Unlike many of the other songs listed by people here, the melody is also excellent as well as the lyrics. It does not descend into cliche like so many others do.
