Depends on your definition of inner city but Hampstead Heath is a strong contender for London. Richmond Park is larger but further out - see www.royalparks.gov.uk/parks/richmond_park/ and www.london-discount-hotel.com/london_attractions_36 for some detail. However Phoenix Park in Dublin probably has the strongest claim in the whole of Europe with 1750 acres. www.dublintourist.com/details/the_phoenix_park.shtml

Wrong, wrong, wrong Gun crime is far worse in Nottingham. Leicester became the first English city with a non-white majority some years ago. Not all non-white people are into gun crime, or any other crime! Houses in Birmingham do not typically have bars over the windows. This has been common for certain businesses for many years - banks, betting shops, off licences, late night takeaways etc.
