They will be much improved from 05 and 06. They ended the season on a roll and hopefully are able to draft a RB like Lynch or Peterson. The WR core with Ferguson, Driver and Jennings will be enough to keep Favre happy.
The two real keys lie within the o-line and the defense. If both can play at the level they played during the last half of the season, they have a great opportunity to not only get to the playoffs, but possibly to the Super Bowl.
Now I don't see them winning as there are 4-6 AFC teams that are much better, but getting the dance in Favre's last year would be a great accomplishment for the team.

Favre is a very talented QB. He is more talented than almost any other QB in the league because his talent is more natural, not as trained. Those who have coached him have always remarked that he doesn't follow the directions of football rules as much as the other QB's in the NFL do. He tends to see someone open, figures out a way to get the ball there, and does it. He doesn't go by certain plays, etc.
I think having a naturally talented QB will make a difference somewhat to the Packers. However, a team doesn't just depend on the quarterback. A team depends on the entire team as a whole. Everyone has an important position to play. I don't think Favre can take the Packers to the superbowl alone.

I don't know if any team can win the "Buper" Bowl, but The Packers are in need of some rebuilding. Their team is up there in age and besides Favre they have no huge play makers. They won't be a threat for the Super Bowl for many years to come

Favre is one of the best quaterbacks in the NFL but he can't make the playoffs or win a superbowl on his own. He needs a great offense and defense team to back him up. I would love to see the packers go all the way.

He wont get into the SB but he will make a run with the bears for a playoff spot this year. Favre is a beast and when he is playing anything is possible, but i dont think it is realistic he would make the SB. PLayoffs maybe. I think definate wild card.

They will make the play offs. They ended on a good run, and with off season acquisitions, a plan going into the draft (unlike last year where they didn't know if they'd need a qb to replace him or not).
Expect good things, but they will not make the super bowl. The Saints will beat them in the Play offs

I don't see much reason for them to be any better then they have been the last two seasons. Maybe if they draft Petersen or make a move for an imapct player, but Favre coming back doesn't equal improvement.

convinced and no. at the same time as i imagine about how solid Favre is for the game of football, not in hardship-free words score whys yet excitement smart besides, then i ought to love for him again. yet as a Packer fan, I then imagine about purely how undesirable he ought to whoop us two times again next season, and extremely last 3 hundred and sixty 5 days i got here upon that onerous to address. i will say convinced i decide on him again, because i recognize seeing him play like he grow to be 20 again. I purely desire eco-friendly Bay places up better of a strive against is all.

playoffs as a wild card team at 9-7 or 10-6, they will probably get by the wildcard game and lose to someone like the Panthers or Eagles in the Divisional round on the road

Favre's skills have diminished and he does not have enough talent surrounding him. Packers will go 6-10 next year.
