I am traveling to Malaysia and would like to know if there are any serial numbers they will not accept on USD $100 bills. Please let me know if you can. Your help is much appreciated.

No such thing. By the way, the best place to exchange money would be the banks but usually the banks in Kuala Lumpur are very busy. Long lines.

Credit cards are widely accepted now (Visa/Mastercard) so I recommend you use your credit card whenever you can. The only cost is the transaction fees (US banks credit cards will usually charge you no more than 3% foreign transaction fee).

Still I understand that when traveling in a foreign country, you need currency (for taxis etc). Again banks gives the best rates & there are always money changers at the international airports.

I've been advised by money exchanger operator in Malaysia avoid any old usd100 notes with some kind of serial number that i could't remember. He show me the old usd100 note that can be distinguished with a new note.
He said the old notes still exchangeable but the rate is lower than the new ones. I don't know why but try bring the new notes otherwise you will be dissapointed with the exchange rate.
