We've come a long way baby! The mere fact that we can communicate that there is suffering around the world is miraculous. Vaccinations (Small Pox, Polio) are being delivered and given to remote parts of the world. Philanthropies have admitted if any of these disease breaks out, then we ALL suffer ... so they're giving generously to vaccinations.
Communities in Africa are being given play ground equipment. This equipment is like a Merry-Go Round and when the children play on it, then water gets purified for the whole community.
There is hope ... I would suggest you turn off the "Evening News" and search for the "Good News" to balance out the "Bad News" you're plugging into. PBS (Public Broadcasting System) is doing a good job on spreading the amazing stuff that is countering this bad stuff (using shock value for profits). When you do this, you'll be inspired to keep the good momentum rolling instead of festering in the negativity of the bad news.

I haven't been on Y!A for a day so I have the pleasure of only seeing about one or two of these Qs! :D XD I'm not going to lie though, I am actually kind of excited about them being back. They where my favorite band for a long time when I was little and I don't think they are bad. Although, if there are really being asked that many questions then yea... pick something new to talk about people! People create these things and people need to stop it. There is no reason for there to be hunger or sickness in today's world what with all the affluent countries out there. We should all get together, identifiy the areas that need help and all do something about it. Also, we should make sure that the corrupt governments of the places that we are trying to help actually distribute the food and medical supplies instead of selling them or keeping them.

I just knew someone would blame "people" right off the bat.
If there were no people, animals would still get hungry.
If there were no people, animals would still get sick and diseased.
If there were no people, animals, such as wolves, would still be territorial.
What about the bacteria, viruses, parasites, and organisms that are the cause of diseases? Are they not "life" too?
I know the question is intended to be read & answered from the perspective of humans, but this is the "Philosophy" section.

there will always be hunger,sickness,disease and war because life has always been that way the world will never change sorry but its true

1- Hunger - food is not adequaltey distributed
2- sickness/disease - thats just germs and age and nothing will stop that
3- war - GREED - now and forever!

Because there is still no end to greed, selfishness, hatred, stubborness, lack of faith, stupidity, violence, evil...shall I go on? As long as we continue to exhibit these problems in human nature...we will never crawl out of the rubble.

Because there are still people. All of these things are necessary right now. In time we will become one people and these things will be all but non existent.
