i live in a city. we have tried to fight this through all processes. school board. approved. initial hearing - was continued to the commission, skipping the due process of our city. when i protested this violation of my due process, they just ignored me. i feel that it is a nuisance since i will not be able to enjoy my home, let alone my yard.

You need help with zoning. Go to whatever municipal unit controls the way your area is zoned (city or county - it's usually the city, but you could be in a rural area, you didn't say). Zoning for a school requires a hearing of the City, and a meeting of the school board. Show up at both to gauge for yourself how far along the project is. If it is still in the planning stages, protest it by trying to get an injunction. If it has already been planned, zoned and paid for, welcome your new neighbors.

I fail to see how a school being situated on three sides of your property would fall into the realm of the nuisance laws. Perhaps there may be an issue of ordinances but if you are looking at nuisance laws due to having kids all around you, I think it will be a lost cause.

You mean they cannot force you to sell them your house? It sounds like you have them over a barrel.
