It's Richie Sexson and I'd have to say he is better. He has been very consistent over his carrer and Beltre had 1 great season the went down the tube.Take away the 1 year Sexson was hurt he has only failed to hit 30 homers once.

Adrian Beltre is better. If you look at Beltre's numbers, it has taken him 2-3 years to adjust to the major league level and i think he is just getting used to the American League. I think he can put up about 20-25 homeruns and have 90-100 rbis and even 15 steals. Sexson strikes out way too much and has a terrible average.

Ritchie Sexson. Ritchie has the numbers easily. Beltre had a great year during his contract year. He has under produced his whole career. Fielding wise Beltre has it over Sexson. But, you can say that beltre under produces for a third baseman.

I haven't seen much from Beltre since they came out that he was possibly accussed of using steriods. Hmm.. You have to question that...
Sexson is clean and has been the most consistant. Not to mention he still put up amazng numbers after being out for a whole season. So until Beltre shows he can do it like in LA (the only one year he played great!), Sexson is my vote as better..

beltre has a better glove - but overall sexson is by far the most consistent of the two, so I would say Sexson

You have to go with Sexson. Beltre only had one solid year.

Jeepers! I agree with Yankee fan Ozgard! Beltre had one good season and followed the money to Seattle. Sexson has been pretty consistent throughout his career.

They both have been let downs. Sexson clubbers a few big home runs but his average and strikeouts are both terrible.

Beltre has not even come close to earning the money he's currently being paid.
