Well it depends what year it is but if you follow your top radiator hose into the motor,it will connect to a dome shaped housing. That is where your thermostat is. I just recently replaced one on a 93 4.3 blazer. The housing was mounted sideways and was kinda pain to access. After removing it make sure you get the right thermostat for it.Some were equipped with a rubber seal around them like the one i just did.Others did not have the rubber seal.Truthfully if you do have one with the rubber seal around the thermostat, they are a little more of a pain to get them to seal correctly.--Good luck.

Follow the top radiator hose back where its secured to the intake manifold. The thermostat housing is exposed when you remove the top hose. Remove the radiator cap and drain the coolant first. If you replace it go for an AC Delco, Stant or NAPA has a new balanced thermostat that works well.

In the thermostat housting. Exact location depends on the year, but it should be where the radiator hose connects to the engine.

The housing is on top of the intake, and should be toward the front. Remove the two bolts and you will see the thermostat.

it should be made to artwork regardless of the indisputable fact that there are a range of changes even between a similar length engine yet of diverse years. Bolt sizes, EGR setup, intake seals are purely some that come to ideas. yet with decision it should be made to artwork superb.
