this will be catastrophic!i dont see the point of reading 6 books about the life of a child, love him so much, get attached and suddenly after all he went through he dies! jesus, this would be stupid! we all love happy endings..

i personally feel that with the way that the series have progressed it would be a respectable ending if Harry did die. I mean this series certainly has not been one with a happy vibe to it... there has always been the cloud of doom and worry that have loomed over the characters. I feel that if Harry survives, it would almost be to only keep the main character alive for the skae of keeping him alive- no other reason. The reason he survived V initially may have very well been to take care of him now and once that deed is done he has no literary purpose really so I think it would be the respectable to thing for him to die in book 7.

I heard 5 major characters were going to die. One may or may not be Harry (at the time JK wasn't sure either way)... she doesn't want people to continue to write about Harry and killing him off is one way to ensure this doesn't happen. We'll just have to wait and see! July 21st is the day, you can actually pre-order the book on Amazon for under $20!

He probably isnt.. Harry Potter is intended to be a childrens book, so it wouldn't really be right to kill off the main character. I'm a HUGE Harry Potter fan. I have a feeling that Snape and Hermione may die because of where she wrote that thing on the Marble God.
The God that she wrote, the whereabouts of where she finished the book was Called Hermes. (Hermione)
And it was in the town of Snape. (Snape.)
But i hope not..

No except JK Rowling knows if he is going to die. I think she should keep him alive just in case she falls on hard times.
There are a lot of theories swarming the net. Some say.
He will die becasue he is a horcrux and others say he will not die because Harry just can't die.

I dont think so but I do think that somebody close to Harry will die
Either Ron, Hermoine, Hagrid, Cho, Neville or Ginny
But it might be possible that the only way to finally destroy Voldemort is for Harry to sacrifce himself to save everyone that He cares about

yes i think so and also i think that Voldmort will die also.....even tho i don't want him to. JK Rowling said that two main characters are going to die and the porpecy is going to come true and harry and volderomt are both going to die at the same time!
