I am a mother of 1 and one on the way. With my first child I was able to stay are home for 7 months with here. (This was only by the grace of god and my wonderful supportive parents)There is no way for me to stay home this time that long unless I am working from home. I had looked in to this in the past but was never able to find a job that I could work from home. I really like my present job but I don't want to have to miss my childern growing up. If anyone could help I would greatly appreciate it.

Hi,

To be honest, you are probably not going to find a job working from home. Any opportunities you find that require a start up fee or money up front is a scam don't get sucked in!!

I encourage you to immediately put these jobs out of your mind. Here are some of my tips when looking for a job....

Networking - Register at your local Unemployment Office (you don't need to be on unemployment to register for their assistance). They often will have networking groups on a regular basis. They also are a good source for the jobs that never show up in the paper or online.

Check your local paper -- In many cases the papers classified are now online.

Search Smart Online -- If you don't have a lot of time, spend most of your time at sites that aggregate the job feeds from several job search engines. Prominently these include indeed.com and thingamajob.com.

Organization -- I use a free online application that allows you to track your ads, jobs you apply for, send or print mail merged correspondence, and track your job search history. This site is jobsearchlog.com
I invite you to check it out and you'll be able to keep track of what you apply for.

Good Luck,

Karen

You could stay home under the FAMILY MEDICAL LEAVE ACT, but you do this without pay. It sounds like you aren't able to do that. You are way late on finding a job that will hire you now and be willing to have you start working from home.
Do you have a home computer, do you have broad band, do you have the skill? It takes a new and different discipline to actually work at home. How is the company going to be sure they are getting eight hours work for eight hours pay. Are going to be able to work the hours when needed such as 8 to 5 or are you going to have to work around the baby.
You may not like the next part of my answer either. Thousands and thousands of women have faced the same dilemma and were not able to stay home, and their kids turn out just fine.

I don't know what kind of help you are looking for. If you are looking for a work from home job, they are fewer and farther between than all the scams on this sight would have you believe, and the real ones don't pay well. It's also insanely hard to work with two kids needing you while you do it. If you can work part time that will take some of the bite out of leaving your kids, but believe me, you can work full time and still have a great relationship with your kids. Generations have done it before and millions of people do it now. You were blessed to have that time with your son, you should have at least 12 weeks of FMLA from your current job, if you work full time now, so use those 3 months with the new little one on the way. Of course it's hard to work when you have kids, and it hurts, a lot at first. But people do it because they need to work for money to provide their kids what they need in life. If you like your job, you'll then be a happier working parent.

I'm not entirely sure what it is that you're after but you seem to be asking about the legitimacy of making money online. I'll be the first to tell you that it does happen, and it is real. I'm not going to post a dollar amount over your head and try to entice you to do anything but people do make some decent cash working online. What it really comes down to is what company you work with, what your "work" involves, what type of compensation that they're offering you, and what support (if any) do they provide you. If you have found the answers to these questions and are comfortable with the answers, then you have found a decent way to generate some extra cash online! I've been involved in network marketing for quite some time now and I spent almost a year getting pushed around by these companies that had me working FOR them. At any rate, one of the few things I am proud to say is that one of them seems to stick out more than the others and that is because it provides you with more than "just another way to earn you some extra cash online," it actually provides you with 100% real time support. From the moment that you plug in to the community, you can literally feel the difference. Anyways, I'll provide you a link that you can visit if this is what you're looking for: http://www.athomeincomesolutions.com

I hope this provides you a considerable amount of guidance. Good luck to you!

The only jobs you can do at home -- that I found -- are either
computer-related (and your computer skills do seem very strong!) and
home-based customer service representative or home-based call center
representative. Unless you want to start up a business of some sort,
you're limited to jobs that primarily involve computer/Internet or
phone work.

Your best bet is to go through very respected sites, like Monster,
even though you will have to commit a lot of time to hunting and
weeding.

There is a website that does this already and they post daily telecommute jobs. The jobs where you must send them a resume and interview for them, and some of them have benefits.

Many of them are sales or web programming jobs, but there are some for customer service and clerical type work.

The link is in the source.

I suggest you must at any cost know your real priority and then try to focus yourself on all posibilities. Nonetheless, I suggest you really need to focus your attention to your most likely job and in doing so try also to give ample and quality time with your growing kid. Explaining your situation and the likely of your present status to your kid might help though the kid may find it absurd as of the moment the kid will soon go through with the course of your lifestyle and perhaps understand you along the way. Have a happy life and enjoy your work and your parenthood. God bless you and your loved one.

at this point in time you have to choose the theres a saying ..you cant have both end of this world, but with a little of sacrice you can make both ends meet. its either you quit your job and choose your family or vise versa, on my opinion, if you cnt leave your children, then bring them along with you, then find a nanny, or somebody you can trust, or maybe an institution that will take care of them for the meantime while you are at work, it may cause you additional expense but you can have them both.while you're in that situation for the time being try to make an effort to resolve or to look for better oppurtunities other than what you have right now.i hope it help you a little.thanks

Your best chance is to make arrangements with your current employer to work from home. If you are planning on quitting your job, and your employer values you, he/she will accommodate to the extent possible. Consider working from home part time, not full time, while the rest of the time in the office. While this may not be optimal initially, you may actually be able to maintain such schedule for longer period of time.
