'Stairways to Heaven' CD w/ Australian Doors Show. This CD was issued only in Australia. It contains 12 different versions of Led Zeppelins 'Stairway to Heaven' song with one exceptional version done by The Australian Doors Show which is so realistic, I've had excited people who have heard the song on the radio call or email me wanting to know what bootleg The Doors performed this song. This one is a very hard to find promo issue! Cond: M

The Doors last public appearance was in December 1970. "Stairway To Heaven" was released in November 1971, 4 months after Jim Morrison died. so i'm pretty sure the answer is no... but that would've been a GREAT cover! : )

cheers,
Shauna!

Possible you heard a soundalike. Maybe the singer from The Cult. I *think* he joined a re-formed Doors some years back & they mighta done it.

But no. Morrison never did. If he did, it'd be all over the bootleg trader community.
