I do. I think they made sure he came to power the first time and then again so he could fulfill their agenda, particularly regarding, Afghanistan, Iraq, oil, etc.

Of course he is. THE ALL ARE, Democrats, republicans, just two sides to the same coin, fueled by pork money and lobbyists, these are just two groups fighting each other, and keeping people so blinded by partisenship that we have no idea how bad they are scewing us.
The lobbysts dont care either. After the last election, they just switch the picture on the office wall from Regan to Kennedy, and its business as usual.
Something needs to happen, This whole Dem vs Republican thing is getting old, and the only ones who really lose are AMERICANS...

If you are correct, then the democratic process in America is broken beyond repair. In a democracy, power lies in the hands of the people. No idea how you would make the leap from "the people" to a "group of high powered persons with vested interests." Completely nonsensical.

No, that is quite a silly and frivolous idea. I'm sure it's easier to say that than actually create a serious and informed argument as to why you believe Bush's policies to be wrong.
But facts and evidence and logic are all such a bother! Why bother with intellectual discourse over political ideas when you can just call people names and cast aspersion on them in a frivolous manner?

I think he had to deal with some horrible situations when he first came into office and has made some bad decisions. That being said, I was not anti-Bush until he refused to listen to other alternatives for the failed war in Iraq. I don't think he is evil,or a puppet, just hard-headed.

Bush was just a yes-man, a greedy spoilt brat who got everything given to him and everything his way. He was duped into being made President because, for all his power now, he'll be hounded as the most brain damaged moron to ever have been Commander in Chief when he leaves office and when he leaves this earth. He'll be the fall guy, and the ones who were really run the show will vanish. That's what ticks me off.

Yes - he has his advisors and he can only know what they tell him. If they have their own agenda - they can easily manipulate what they want to happen. This has been known to be the case with past presidents - both dem and rep - so it's not that Bush is dumb.

No, I believe that he has a vision and the determination to see it through. He believes that freedom and rule of law will save the middle east from destroying it's self. I believe that he doses not like to change his position just because of the polls.
