Ferry boats are a metaphor for Meredith, you know.
What I was interested in was Meredith and how she was doing after being hurt by her mother. And the devastation of the ferry boat was the best way to physicalize Meredith’s pain.
The little girl? She’s also a metaphor for Mer. A motherless lost girl who can’t speak for herself and disappears? Okay, that’s too obvious. But you all know Meredith’s been doing a dance with death for some time. Y’all know that if you’ve been watching. She’s dark, our girl. She’s dark and twisty. And I worry about her.
Now, I’m really worried about her because she’s in the water and I want to be clear with you: I don’t put people in the water for no reason. Meredith’s got issues, she’s got serious Mommy issues and she’s broken and she’s in the water

It was a crazy episode. I'm pretty sure Meredith can't die because the show is named GREY's Anatomy. The guy she was trying to save, with the busted leg, was able to swim and get himself up, but Meredith is just seen falling deeper in the water. The little girl freaked me out.

Yes, how that kid just stoicly watched Meredith go down and continued to just stare so long and then turn, made me think she's some kind of evil child. Or traumatized. It didn't make any sence. Unless maybe that's how her own mum died.
How Meridith began the episode in the water and ended it there too. It's like the episode with the bomb... she woke up with a bad feeling. It's like she senses, she knows! Or something. Weird and creepy
The pregnant woman... like a mask. What would make a face look like that? And she totally held Alex's hand. He can be so sweet.
And Addison was so sweet with the chief.
And I love that cheerful curly haired lady.... she was on Buffy as Anja's deamon friend.

It was an awesome episode. Though the little girl not talking was kinda creepy. Man it looks like Meredith is going to drown and die...but I doubt the show would kill off its main character.

OMG that was amazing i was on the edge of my seat, Can't wait to see what happens next, i hear it's a 3 parter. I can't beleive she fell in the water...McDreamy will be her knight and jump in to save her.

I kinda laughed when meredith fell. and what was up with her and derek having coversations while working to save people? seriously!

Yes, they did it that way because it was supposed to be apart of a 3-episode story.

i only got to watch about 10 minutes and it was weird! i am going to watch it tonite. That show is getting to be kinda like Days of our lives!! weird and weirder
