Well yes....have you heard of lobbyists?? And big corporations? Yep, money speaks the loudest. To hell with the average day to day constituents.

Money always speaks louder. In the end we want it to though. You want money and if the deal would be better for you BUT cost you a lot you pick keeping the money. That is called CAPITALISM and the basis of our whole economy. If you want citizens first go some place like Canada. Not sure if they truly put citizens first but they would be closer then America.

No question. Cash. Working class tax payers will spend $498 billion on defense in 2007. We have a $9 trillion national debt. The occupation of Iraq will cost working class tax payers $2 trillion.
Republicans will do everything in their power to make sure that the working class tax payers pay for their mistakes not the wealthy or the Corporations. It's about money. America is for sale to the highest bidder.

The reality is that money talks. Those with money have the access. But, money is not the only means of access. Publicity is also importation. That is why grouping together is so important. Take M.A.D.D. for example. The mother who started that organization (who was subsequently arrested for drinking and driving) would have done nothing if she were left to her own. However, when she grouped with thousands of others then laws were changed as well as minds. Don't allow money to dull your sense of what is just and your intent to act upon it.

False dichotomy. Consumers speak through their purchasing decisions. McDonald's doesn't talk louder than I do. Millions of people ordering Big Macs in drive thru windows, collectively but voluntarily, speak louder than I do.
Who exactly voted thumbs down on this? That idiot pirate dude doesn't think people voluntarily go to McDonald's or something?

Of course it does. If you have money, you run the gov't and you don't even have to be from the US. Look at the Arabs and how much power they have over our Gov't thank to our oil dependance.

obvious money comes first to our politicians and those in government. The more money you have to give them, the harder they listen.
